The Life Cycle Of A Strawberry Field
How exciting! In this class you’ll find out just what happens to the strawberry fields from the time they are planted until then next planting.
STRAWBERRY SEASON BEGINS AT THE END OF APRIL AND RUNS THROUGH MAY
Strawberry Season is one of our favorite times of the year! We have u-pick fields open around mid-April during the week and on the weekends, along with offering field trips to schools and other organizations during this time.
A strawberry field trip to Deans Farm Market in the spring provides an opportunity for students to have a hands-on learning experience while gaining an understanding of how their fruits and vegetables grow. Our main goal is to inform, engage and entertain students in the best classroom there is…..MOTHER NATURE! Farm tours are essential for educating students on the food they eat, the growing process, nutrition and the farming profession. We offer a Pick Your Own Strawberry Program for schools, daycare’s, and other organizations!
What will students experience during our strawberry field trips?
